A concept that originated as a class project at The University of Iowa has transitioned into something much more impactful.

The Imagine for Youth Foundation began at the Tippie School of Business, where Micah and his fellow classmates were challenged to create a business plan that involved community give back. After deliberation, they saw a need to provide access to sporting equipment to underserved youth. This was the moment Micah realized that this had potential to grow, surpassing the boundaries of the University of Iowa.

OUR RECENT IMPACT

Inaugural Micah Hyde Charity Golf Classic

Imagine For Youth expanded their impact to the state of Iowa, at Micah’s Alma Mater in Iowa City. The inaugural Micah Hyde Charity Golf Classic welcomed in 20 legendary Hawkeye football stars & 20 current football stars to tee off at Finkbine golf course alongside competing foursomes. Proceeds raised from the outing benefitted families whose children are receiving care at Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Head Coach Kirk Ferentz even stopped by the outing to show his support!

6th Annual Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game

Bills Mafia showed out, once again, for the fan favorite Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game hosted at Sahlen Field. With nearly 15,000 mafia members in attendance, fans got to enjoy the offense face off against the defense. In the end, team defense prevailed in a 12-6 victory. Proceeds from the game support the Imagine For Youth Foundation, keeping all of the impact in the WNY region.

Our New York committee assisted Greg Rousseau and the Rousseau Family Foundation to distribute 100 complete Thanksgiving turkey dinners to families at the Buffalo Public Schools Saturday Academy at Harvey Austin School #97. 🦃✨ Each dinner included everything for a full holiday meal — turkey, stuffing, veggies, and dessert — so families can celebrate with comfort and joy. It was a day filled with gratitude, teamwork, and true community spirit. We’re proud to partner with organizations dedicated to supporting Buffalo families and making a real difference!
